The student dormitory N-Village GOTO was opened in April, 2018.
The dormitory village is composed of a common use building with a cafeteria, communal bath, and multipurpose space, as well as residence buildings with private rooms equipped with furniture and household electronics.
A nutritionally balanced breakfast and dinner is included. Entrance to the dormitory is controlled with an IC card system for security and safety.
N-Village GOTO adjoins the campus for ease of commuting to class.
There are 5 cafeterias located on campus. MOMOcafe offers a western food based menu, as well as meal sets made in collaboration with the nutrition support club. The Fureai Shokudo cafeteria has many popular menu items including curry and daily meal set specials. Kid’s is a café selling light meals using local ingredients including daily lunch box specials and pasta dishes.
The library houses approximately 110,000 books and 1,400 journals.
Open until 10p.m. on weekdays, and on weekends from October to March, the library is utilized by many students for independent study for national accreditation examinations and routine tests.
N-Village GOTO is a new style of integrated student dormitory village with common usage buildings and several single sex student residence buildings.
For your privacy, the residences have single occupancy private rooms equipped with furniture and household electrical items. Each floor is also equipped with meeting rooms furnished with kitchens, shared bathrooms, toilets, shower rooms, bathroom vanity units, and coin operated washing machines.
The common usage building is open until midnight, and offers a communal bath and cafeteria as well as a multipurpose space for holding seminars and other events.
The student cafeteria, MOMOcafe seats approximately 700 students and is the largest cafeteria at our university.
In addition to its western food based cafeteria menu, students can enjoy an abundant lineup of food including a Niigata specialty dish “tare-katsudon”, a breaded pork cutlet rice bowl, as well as meal sets made in collaboration with the nutrition support club.
There is seating for about 250 people in the reading space.
Taking advantage of the high ceiling and wide, quiet area, this is the perfect environment to concentrate on individual study.
