(1) Individuals who have completed (or are expected to complete) a 12-year school education curriculum in a foreign country, or individuals recognized by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology as possessing equivalent qualifications. (2) Individuals awarded the International Baccalaureate Diploma by the International Baccalaureate Organization, a foundation established under the Swiss Civil Code. (3) Individuals holding the *Abitur* qualification, which is recognized as a university entrance qualification in the states of the Federal Republic of Germany. ⑷ Holders of the Baccalaureate qualification recognized as a university entrance qualification in the French Republic. ⑸ Holders of the General Certificate of Education Advanced Level (GCE A-Level) or International General Certificate of Education Advanced Level (International A-Level) qualification recognized as a university entrance qualification in the United Kingdom. ⑹ Holders of the European Baccalaureate qualification recognized as a university entrance qualification in a member state of the European Union. ⑺ Individuals who have completed (or are expected to complete) a 12-year curriculum at an educational institution accredited for its educational activities by an international accrediting body (WASC, ACSI, CIS, NEASC, or Cognia). |
