备注 Applicants must be female without Japanese nationality and meet the following requirements:

(1) Hold a "Student" status of residence under the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act, or be able to obtain this status by the time of university enrollment, and satisfy any one of the following:

① Have completed, or be expected to complete by March 31, 2026, 12 years of formal schooling abroad, or have completed an equivalent curriculum designated by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT).

② Have passed a national examination in the applicant’s country that is officially recognized as equivalent to completion of 12 years of formal schooling abroad.

③ Have completed a curriculum abroad corresponding to high school (limited to those whose completion is recognized as having completed 11 or more years of formal schooling in their country or otherwise meet criteria separately specified by MEXT).

④ Hold one of the following qualifications: International Baccalaureate (IB), Abitur, French Baccalauréat, GCEA Levels, International A Levels, or European Baccalaureate.

⑤ Have completed a 12-year curriculum at an educational institution accredited by an internationally recognized evaluation organization (such as WASC, CIS, ACSI, NEASC, Cognia, COBIS).

⑥ Have graduated from a Japanese high school, or be expected to graduate by March 31, 2026.(2) Have scored 200 points or more in total (reading comprehension, listening, and listening-reading comprehension) in the Japanese language section of the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU) conducted by the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) in the 2024 or 2025 academic year.

(2) Have scored 200 points or more in total (reading comprehension, listening, and listening-reading comprehension) in the Japanese language section of the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU) conducted by the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) in the 2024 or 2025 academic year.

(3) Have passed the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) at N1 or N2 level, administered by the Japan Foundation and the Japan Educational Exchanges and Services.

(4) Be enrolled in a Japanese language education institution, and have been assessed by the head of the language school as possessing Japanese language ability equivalent to JLPT N2 level as stated in (3), and be able to obtain certification or recommendation accordingly.
