Ryukoku University’s Yunus Social Business Research Center (YSBRC) is collaborating with the ‘3ZERO Club’ to hold an online lecture by Nobel Peace Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus, on Tuesday, October 26th.
The lecture will focus on ‘3Zero Club ‘The Chance to Create a New World’ with zero carbon emissions, zero poverty and zero unemployment’. Covid-19 is a chance to create a new world, and Ryukoku is involved with a ‘3Zero Club’ program that embraces and helps realize the innovative ideas of young people towards eliminating carbon emissions, poverty and unemployment.
Following the lecture experts from various fields will ask Dr. Yunus questions regarding the world after corona. Representing Ryukoku University in the talk section will be Yudai TANAKA, participant in the ‘Social Entrepreneurship Program’ and affiliated with the Department of Environmental Solution Technology, and Professor Katsutaka SHIRAISHI, Ryukoku University Vice President and Head of the YSB Research Center.
