| 기타 주의사항 | 학력이 16년을 채우지 못하는 자도 사전에 문의할 것 기타(Applicants to the Graduate School of Humanities and Sciences, Department of Sociology [Sociology Course] must have passed Level N1 of the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT). Applicants to the Graduate School of Humanities and Sciences are required to complete the pre-application contact procedure as outlined below. Pre-application Contact Period: August 18 (Mon) – August 29 (Fri), 2025 Applications will not be accepted outside of this period. Pre-application Contact Method: Please reply by email to the College of Humanities and Sciences Academic Affairs Office (chs.kyomu@nihon-u.ac.jp), including the following information: Subject line: “Pre-application Contact for Graduate School Entrance Examination for International Students” Email body: (1) Name (2) Telephone number (3) University of graduation (4) Desired major (5) Desired academic advisor Attach a PDF copy of your Research Proposal. After your submission is reviewed, the Academic Affairs Office will send you a “Pre-application Contact Form” by email. Please answer the questions in the form. Once your desired academic advisor and research topic have been confirmed, the Academic Affairs Office will issue a “Pre-application Confirmation Letter” to the applicant in approximately 2–3 weeks.Please note that contacting multiple faculty members simultaneously for pre-application contact is not permitted.) |

Additionally, in the year of graduation, a one-time payment of 10,000 yen is required for the first year of Regular Membership Fee. 2. Depending on the graduate school, annual payments ranging from 10,000 to 40,000 yen are required for the Support Association Fee, Maintenance Fee, or similar fees (for the 2026 academic year). For detailed information, please refer to the guidance page on the online application website. 3. At Nihon University, to support the foundation of education, research, and medical activities, students will be asked to cooperate in fundraising activities after enrollment; however, participation is voluntary. |
