(3) ① Applicants must have obtained a total score of 200 points or higher on the Japanese-language subject of the "Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU)" administered by the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO), excluding the writing score; **or** have passed JLPT N2 or N1. ② Applicants must possess Japanese language ability equivalent to that specified in ① above.
