All first-year students enter the dormitories, where students study together while cooperating and competing with one another, thereby fostering independence and social skills. Dormitory life offers cross-cultural interaction between Japanese and international students and builds career education as students reflect upon their own way of living. Students can gain awareness and learning from each other in the shared living spaces that cannot be taught in the classroom.
The university provides a support system so that students can enjoy a productive, carefree and safe dormitory life experience. The Student Support Center offers advice for the planning and operation of events for dormitory students, and acts as a consultation desk if students run into any problems. Full time counsellors and health nurses are available to assist dormitory students with any health and wellness matters.
The Global Center and Language Education Center provide assistance for international exchange opportunities, such as study-abroad and training programs, and support for international students. We provide total support for the overseas program in which all second-year students participate, and also offer language education support for learning English and other foreign languages, and studying Japanese language and culture.
The Student Support Center accepts consultations on all matters relating to student life such as subject registration and study, dormitory life, club activities, scholarships, health and mental health matters, and provides specific individual support for each student.
At the Career Center we provide support for career formation, job-hunting and internships so that each student is prepared for their transition into society.
2-person share room. A moveable divide enables students to have their own private space.
Students are welcome to visit the Student Support Centre anytime for consultations.
