Remarks* Common to all departments: Applicants must have taken the Japanese, Mathematics (Course 2), and Science sections of the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU). They must have scored at or above the average in the combined "Reading Comprehension" and "Listening & Listening-Reading Comprehension" sections of the Japanese test, as well as in the "Writing" section of the Japanese test. Regarding elective Science subjects, applicants must have selected the following: "Physics" and "Chemistry" for the Department of Physics; one subject from among "Physics," "Chemistry," and "Biology" for the Department of Biology; "Chemistry" for the Department of Chemistry; and "Physics" and "Chemistry" for the Department of Environment and Energy Engineering. Remarks** Scores, grade reports, or certificates of passing are required for the following: Cambridge English Qualifications, TOEFL iBT® test, IELTS, TOEIC® (Listening & Reading only is acceptable), GTEC, TEAP (2-skill format is acceptable), TEAP CBT, and the Practical English Proficiency Test (Eiken) (CBT is also accepted). |
