For applicants residing in countries or regions where the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU) is not administered, the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) may be accepted as a substitute for the “Japanese” section of the EJU. In such cases, you must meet the faculty-specific requirements regarding the JLPT and related matters. (Please check the application guidelines on the Chuo University website for details.) Remarks (1) Scores from either the first or second Examination for Japanese University Admission (EJU) of the 2026 academic year will be used for the admissions decision.
