However, if a student completes the Hokuriku University Preparatory Course for International Students and advances to an undergraduate program at the university, the 200,000 yen admission fee is waived from the second-semester payment; consequently, the second-semester payment becomes 175,000 yen, and the total payment for the first year becomes 750,000 yen. *The reduction applies for a period of four years, with the reduction granted once per academic year.
