Teikyo University is a comprehensive institution that offers studies in medicine, humanities, and sciences in 10 faculties and 30 departments. Education at Teikyo University is guided by the ideals of "practical learning" for acquiring real-world knowledge and skills, an "international perspective" for learning about and experiencing other cultures, and "open-mindedness" to broadly learn the necessary knowledge and skills. 7 programs provide numerous possibilities for future careers

The curriculum is divided into 7 streams of courses: Communication, Cross-Cultural Understanding, Calligraphy, Art, Fashion, Psychology and Sport. Each of these streams provide opportunities for transferring to a university or pursuing a career.

Acquire the basic skills for becoming a capable and adaptable business person

Students will acquire the English and information processing skills necessary to excel in the global business world, as well as the communication skills and mutual understanding needed to work and live in society.

Small-size classes provide an education that takes into account the personality of each student.

Through an education focused on small-size class environments, each student can receive close guidance that meets their individual needs. Students can learn independently and receive the support they need to realize their goals.

Study that opens doors to many careers or transfer into Teikyo University

One distinguishing feature of Teikyo University is the flexibility given to its students to study in fields of their interest outside of their faculty or department. Some of the classes offered in the Faculties of Economics, Law, Liberal Arts, Language Studies, and Education as well as the Junior College at the Hachioji Campus may be taken by any student as an elective course, and up to 15 credits acquired in this way can be applied to graduation requirements.
