Remarks Exemptions: Students who enter on the Shumei University Recommendation system are exempt from paying the 300,000 Yen entrance fee, and will also receive a 180,000 Yen reduction in tuition fees for their first year. Tuition reductions for subsequent years are also available, but only if the student meets attendance and grade requirements, is motivated to study and complies with university rules. Students who do not pass level N2 of the JLPT by the end of the second year will not be eligible for tuition reductions in their third year. If level N2 is passed in the third year, a student will then be eligible to receive tuition reductions again in their forth year.
