Donation for the Turkey-Syria Earthquake Relief Fund Made to the Japanese Red Cross Society
Fundraising activities were held on campus and elsewhere to aid those affected by the major earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria on February 6, 2023. Donation boxes were placed in various locations on campus, with international students from Turkey and Ukraine playing a central role in the fundraising activities.
Thanks to everyone’s cooperation, we collected 116,877 yen in relief funds, which we donated to the Japanese Red Cross Society’s "2023 Turkey-Syria Earthquake Relief Fund” on May 2, 2023.
We extend our heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the victims of the earthquake and sincerely hope for the earliest possible recovery for the affected areas.
