Remarks | Application Requirements Applicants must be non-Japanese nationals (not including special permanent residents) who will have reached the age of 18 by April 1, 2025, meet the requirements of 1) or 2) below, and satisfy the requirements of 3). 1) Those who have completed 12 years of formal education in a foreign country (including those expected to complete by March 31, 2025), or those who have been designated by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology as equivalent. 2) Holders of foreign university entrance qualifications such as International Baccalaureate, Abitur, Baccalaureate, etc. 3) Applicants must have taken 200 points or higher in Japanese (excluding Writing) of EJU, or N2 (or Level 2 of the old exam) or higher of JLPT. |
