HOKKAIDO UNIVERSITY MJSP online application for the second call is now accepting!

Hokkaido University's bilingual bachelor's degree program, the Modern Japanese Studies Program (MJSP) is now accepting applications
for the Intensive Japanese course starting from October 2017, and the regular Bachelor's Degree course starting from April 2018.

■The online application period is from January 30th to February 27th, 2017 (until 5:00p.m., Japan time)
※The required application materials must be sent by post after applying online.
These materials must arrive by 5:00 p.m.(Japan time) on March 13th, 2017.

Intensive Japanese Course Enrollment fee: 43,500 yen, Tuition fee: 30,200 yen (per month)
The enrollment and tuition fees are subject to change. If they are revised before admission or during enrollment, the new amount will apply with immediate effect from the time of revision.
We waive the full amount of the enrollment fee and first year of tuition (2018 academic year) for April (2018) enrollees in the Modern Japanese Studies Program. We waive the enrollment and tuition fees for October (2017) enrollees in the Intensive Japanese Course.

Remarks Individuals who want to be exempt from taking the Intensive Japanese Course (from October 2017) must submit their Japanese Language Proficiency Test Certified Results and Scores Certificate (N2 level or higher) or a test score certificate that can verify the same level or higher of Japanese language ability. (Past Japanese language study experience is not a factor in determining a student's admission to the Modern Japanese Studies Program but will be used to determine whether the student is exempt from taking the Intensive Japanese Course. Exemption from the Intensive Japanese Course is determined in conjunction with the results of the interview.)
