In striving to become an university of international standing, Toyohashi University Technology, has created a multicultural and global campus which can function as a hub for international academia and research. We also act as a regional base, contributing to the realization of a safer and more secure community in areas such as preventing and reducing the impact of natural disasters. In addition to improving on our existing strength of interdisciplinary research, we have also created a new academic course, as part of the Program for Leading Graduate Schools, which aims to cultivate future leaders in the fields of science and engineering.
