Entrance Examination for International Students - 35, 000 yen
Students will be required to pay 21,000 yen for practical course and approximately 20,000 yen to cover various related expenses.
Hosei University has several internal scholarships for international students with outstanding grades, such as the Hosei International Fund (HIF), through which selected students can receive up to one million yen.
◆Tuition Reduction System
Eligible students entering one of the undergraduate faculties from 2017 can receive a 30% tuition reduction in their first year and, depending on their academic grades, a reduction of between 20% and 40% from their second year.

・Application requirements: The total of scores of Reading Comprehension and Listening/Listening & Reading Comprehension of "Japanese as a Foreign Language" must be 240 points or higher.
・Sections considered for screening are Reading Comprehension, Listening Comprehension, Listening & Reading Comprehension and Writing in ‘Japanese as a Foreign Language’
・JLPT scores are only accepted in lieu of EJU scores when the EJU is not administered in the country or region (such as China), and the candidate is residing in this country up until the time he/she submits their admission documents.
・Submission Requirement: Passed N1
・Only scores from the July and December 2016 and July 2017 exam sittings will be considered.
