‘Asset Formation Literacy Lecture’

Ryukoku University is holding its second online lecture with Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank. This lecture, titled ‘What Everyone Should Know! Start using these Skills TODAY!’ - Asset Formation Literacy Lecture’, is being presented by Mr. Tomoo MARUOKA, head of the Mitsui Sumitomo Trust & Asset Future Research Center. The lecture will focus on asset formation literacy in an age where people are living for 100 years. Mr. Maruoka will also be talking about related skills that you can start applying straight away. The first lecture held with Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, titled ‘Succession Measures to Start Thinking About Today’, was attended online by over 80 people from all over Japan. It received very favorable feedback, with comments such as ‘It was very easy to understand’, and ‘I thought I was still too young to worry about this, but this lecture made me realize I’m not!’ The upcoming second lecture was organized due to a demand for a course on asset management.

People are worried about their personal asset formation in an era where they could likely live to be 100 years old. This lecture will look at what you need to start thinking about and how you can prepare for a safe and stable future. It will explain all of this in a way that makes it relatable to each different generation. Attendance is free and open to anybody interested in learning about asset formation.
