What is FAP?
FAP is an original study program open only for foreign nationals who wish to study fully online at Kyoto University of the Arts Correspondence Education Departments.
Program allows students to both improve their Japanese language skills and study art.
In addition, the efficiency of the fully online program significantly reduces tuition fees. The University is a regular four-year university accredited by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), and upon graduation, students will be awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree.
FAP allows students to improve their Japanese language skills while learning a specialized art discipline living out of Japan.

By enrolling in one of the above departments or courses and taking Japanese language courses while studying the specialized subjects of the course, students will acquire the ability to express themselves fully using the Japanese language.
