2021/07/28 Ryukoku University Japanese Culture and Language Program
Here are some of staff and studens relating with Ryukoku University who are making great strides at the Tokyo Olympics!
Funa Nakayama of Ryukoku Toyama High School, a member school of Ryukoku Sogo Gakuen, won a bronze medal!
On Monday, July 26, Ms. Funa Nakayama of Ryukoku Toyama High School, a member school of Ryukoku Sogo Gakuen, took 3rd place and won a bronze medal in the Women's Street Skateboarding competition at the Tokyo Olympics.
Skateboarding is a new sport that has been adopted for the first time at the Tokyo Olympics.
On the day of the event, a public viewing was held at the Toyama International Conference Center to support Ms. Nakayama, and the students bounced purple stick balloons to cheer her on.
Congratulations to Ms. Nakayama!
