The Graduate School of Business has incorporated the studies in industrial relations into business management studies to nurture a wide range of professionals, from researchers to highly-trained experts, who can approach the dynamically changing modern business environment from an international perspective.
Rikkyo University College of Business launched a full time two-year Master of International Business (MIB) degree program in April 2011.The degree was established to respond to industry demand for highly qualified, bilingual graduates with wide-ranging international experience and the ability to conceptualize business problems.
This is one of the few programs of its kind in Japan. All courses are taught in English, preparing graduates to achieve their goals and boost their careers in the global market.
The Master of Public Management and Administration Course (MPMA Course) is designed particularly to nurture and develop student's ability to analyze, review, formulate, manage and evaluate various policies and programs effectively. The MPMA Course is suitable for those government officials, those interested in NGOs and international organizations or a Ph.D. program. All courses are conducted in English. Students who have satisfied all the requirements of the course including a master's thesis will receive a Master of Public Management and Administration.
This program cultivates individuals who can approach the study of business in new ways from a variety of personal, organizational, and social perspectives and who can demonstrate leadership in a global world based on the knowledge and theories they have studied and developed. Specifically, the program offers two courses, one focused on cultivating researchers and the other on cultivating advanced, specialized professionals. Each has a curriculum tailored to its specific goals.
The program enhances the skills required for both advanced, specialized professionals and researchers who will continue to conduct research in their fields, specifically, (1) expertise in the field of global business, (2) a global perspective and skill set, and (3) leadership skills. All classes are conducted in English. The program offers a double degree course that allows students to earn a master’s degree at Rikkyo as well as at an affiliated partner institution overseas.
The MPMA Course is a two-year program. In the first year, you will take the required courses and build up knowledge, theories, skills and techniques necessary for you to especially collect and analyze data for your thesis writing.
