【SOKA University】Intro of FILA Curriculum ① -History, Society & Culture
This course analyzes global challenges from the perspectives of history, culture, and society. By tracing back to the roots, we explore the underlying causes of social issues.
Sample Course: Education for Sustainable Development
We will examine theories and models of development through education and explore the possibilities of learning and education.
With globalization, educational policies and systems across different countries are becoming more uniform rather than diverse. It is essential to consider whether this trend is correct, and whether it relates to cultural, ethnic, or national contexts. In this course, we will explore theories and practices of sustainable development in education in both developed and developing countries.
