Daito Bunka offers a rich variety of student support: freshmen seminars allow professors to give individual guidance to small groups of students, “Career Design” courses help students shape their careers, while outside of class, our “Writing Café” advises students on how to write research papers and reports. Also, from 2010, we started to offer classes on nutrition to educate students about food and at the same time began to support students’ lives by offering a healthy and nutritious breakfast for just 200 yen, through our “Asagohan Project.”
We also fully support students’ transition from university through career and future advising. Especially popular with students is our useful course “Career Design.” This class teaches students the basic Japanese, greetings, etiquette, and information about industries, corporations, and job categories they need to find a job, as well as getting them to think more deeply about what work means to them. It nurtures students’ ability to design the way of life that suits them, allowing them to tackle the future with confidence. Daito Bunka also offers an internship program during summer and other vacations that gets students out into society, with many students interning in businesses and local government bodies. Through a variety of experiences, we give students an environment where they can grow as people. From the time they enter until they graduate, we give them individualized support. Won’t you come and experience student life as you can in no other place at Daito Bunka University?
