【Soka University】Open Campus to happen in July and August!

We will have Open Campus in the following dates!

July 30th(Sat), 31st(Sun), August 21st(Sun) from 10:00 to 16:00

We will have several attractions, such as mock classes, Welcome Festival, one-to-one consultations on admissions, and other activities.

The reception desk will be at Global Square building, 1F, where the participants will receive a free meal ticket and souvenirs. There is no need to make an appointment before coming.

International Students Corner (Consultation on Admissions for International Students) – Global Square building, 6F
We will open a booth for one-to-one consultations on admissions for Undergraduate and Graduate programs, as well as Preparatory Japanese course.
Current international students will talk about their experiences about classes and dormitory lifestyle, as well as conditions for part-time jobs and other points!

學系信息

Enhancement of Education during the Initial Year

All new students will take part in freshman seminars conducted in small groups. In order to make a smooth transition in studying at the university, students acquire basic skills that are necessary for studying at university, including time management, presentation skills and how to write reports.

International Program (IP)

The International Program is an English medium course for learning economics from the basics. Through a four-year faculty education, this program enables students to acquire knowledge of economics as well as to nurture human resources possessing international communication skills such as discussion and presentation skills.

Japan Asia Studies Program (JAS)

The Japan Asia Studies Program is an English medium course for learning specialized academic disciplines such as the economy, history and culture of Japan and Asia together with international students. Students from all faculties may take this program, which makes it possible to carry out intensive discussions with international students possessing various backgrounds.

Explore Specialized Fields

By acquiring specialized knowledge and promoting research themes in specialized seminars, which are conducted in small groups and attended from the second semester in the second year, students will enhance their capacity to take active roles in society through abilities such as being able to think logically and solve problems.

SUCCEED Program

This program allows students to earn all the credits required for graduation through courses offered in English. By satisfying the university's enrollment criteria. Japanese and International students will have an opportunity to spend four years studying economies in English. Students can also take similar courses taught in Japanese and learn in a bilingual manner.
