In the Graduate School of Natural Science and Technology at Okayama University, we promote the cultivation of scholars equipped with comprehensive skills by deepening each student's understanding of essential, high-level academic concepts, and by providing them with interdisciplinary knowledge that spans many academic fields. In this division, the structure and function of organisms at the molecular and cellular level are analyzed to reveal the basic principles of biological phenomena, and education and research is held so that students will be able to contribute to the preservation of the Earth's ecology and advance the sustainability of humanity. This division focuses on revealing the temporal shifts and spatial construction of the atmosphere, hydrosphere, geosphere, and biosphere that make up the Earth, as well as their interacting mechanisms. We aim to cultivate researchers and specialists can attain advanced knowledge and use the latest technologies in their field work.
In this division, students will develop advanced knowledge of mechanical and systems engineering as well as their language and design abilities, and apply them to the planning, design, and production of creations that contain the latest technologies.
