English-based program, "English Track" has started at the School of Global Japanese Studies!

Meiji University will open a new English-based degree program starting in 2011, in order to bring together highly motivated young people from around the world and promote globalization of the school.

School of Global Japanese Studies

The School of Global Japanese Studies focuses on Japanese studies, not only from a traditional perspective but also from a global perspective. The School provides educational and research opportunities related to contemporary Japanese culture, which is currently receiving attention from around the world. The School focuses on educational research of Japanese culture and social systems, based on information extracted from aspects of business, industry and society in Japan, making up the foundation for Japanese culture today.

Application Guideline for 2012 Fall Admission
Admission Qualifications 1. Non-Japanese citizenship
   (or dual citizenship)
2. Completion of high school or equivalent
3. Official standardized test results
   (SAT ACT, International Baccalaureate, GCE)
4. TOEFL iBT 62, TOEIC 640, or IELTS 5.0
   (for Non-native speakers)

Candidates for School of Global Japanese Studies can make applications on web application system.
You can make the applications if you pass university entrance qualification examinations of your countries and get level 2 (N2) or level 1 (N1) of Japanese Language Proficiency Test.
