The curriculum in the Department of Environmental Science combines the humanities and sciences, and students study a broad range of environmental and related subjects, from foundation courses through to practical problem resolution exercises. Through the unique ‘Environmental Project’, which sees students working with companies, government organizations and NPOs to carry out practical research into real-life environmental problems, the Department aims to foster talented individuals with the planning skills and drive necessary for a career in environmental management.
