R-STEPプログラム ＜寿司作り、清水寺、八坂神社、八坂庚申堂、先斗町＞
2023年12月5日（火）から15日（金）まで、海外協定校の学生を対象に、短期留学プログラム「R-STEP（Ryukoku Short-Term Experience Program）」を開催しました。今回は３ヶ国から１０名の学生が参加。
12月8日（金）プログラム4日目は、午前中に「Kyoto Studies」の講義を受けた後、Ryukoku Student Buddies（龍谷大学生バディ）とともにフィールドトリップでお寿司作り体験を行った後、清水寺、八坂神社、八坂庚申堂、先斗町へ行きました。
以下、R-STEP参加留学生のレポートを紹介します。

Our morning lesson was about Kyoto history and focused on the temples we were going to visit during the day.
First, we headed to Yasaka Koshindo.
Then we went to Stake Restaurant and made sushi on our own, with the help of sushi masters.
We had for lunch the pieces of sushi we made.
After that, we went to Yasaka-jinja and Kiyomizu-dera through traditional Kyoto streets.
At the top, we were able to see Buddha statues and amazing landscapes.

京都の歴史に関する朝の講義で、本日訪れる予定の清水寺、八坂神社、八坂庚申堂に焦点を当てて学びました。
最初に八坂庚申堂へ向かいました。その後、レストランに行き、寿司職人から寿司の作り方について指導を受け、自分たちでお寿司を作りました。
昼食には、自分たちで作った寿司を食べながら語らいました。それから、伝統的な京都の通りを通って八坂神社と清水寺へ行きました。寺の頂上で、素晴らしい風景と仏像を見ることができました。
