Understanding society through economic activity

The world, and society, are constantly changing. To help students develop the skills to make sense of the rapidly evolving international environment, we offer a wide range of subjects to study which are of direct relevance to current global events as they unfold. Our goal is to help students develop logical thinking, decision-making abilities and leadership through seminars consisting of small groups of students and a four year continuous education system. Furthermore, students may elect to undertake our unique “Three Courses System”, a program based upon practical “hands-on” learning as well as community-based study.

Three courses system

Students will learn the basics in the first two years and build upon a solid foundation. And then they will choose a course in accordance with their interests. We offer three courses: The Synthetic Economic Policy Course, International Economic Course, The Community, Environments and Human Science Course. A variety of unique subjects are designed in order to encourage students’ talents.

Distinctive lessons for developing a variety of human resources

We also provide distinctive lessons apart from economics such as “SIC” (Special International Communication) to help students obtain high scores in TOEIC tests and “IT skills” to obtain proficiency in computers.

A Four year continuous education system and seminars consisting of small groups of students

We offer a four year continuous education system so that students can gain exposure to areas of expertise gradually and systematically from the early stage of study. We only carry out seminars in small groups since we greatly value communication between professors and students.

Strong Connection with the Community. Discover and expand your potential.

The faculty of economics has been maintaining strong connections with local businesses, prefecture and non-profit organizations. We are always willing to develop partnerships with them and work on projects to help students improve their basic skills as members of society. We can provide students opportunities not only to take classroom lectures but also to discover and expand their potential.
