Kansai University is a comprehensive private university located in Osaka, a city with a long tradition and history. 2016 marks the 130th year since the university's founding. Approximately 28,000 undergraduate students are enrolled in the school’s 13 faculties: Law, Letters, Economics, Business and Commerce, Sociology, Policy Studies, Foreign Language Studies, Health and Well-being, Informatics, Safety Science, Engineering Science, Environmental and Urban Engineering, and Chemistry, Materials, and Bioengineering. Scholarships will be provided to students with an exceptional academic record and who demonstrate strong personal character, and who also require financial assistance for their studies.

Financial Aid for Students Enrolling at Kansai University

Students who have completed the Bekka program and enroll at Kansai University or one of its Graduate Schools will have their admission fee reduced by half.

Japanese Class Volunteers

Kansai University undergraduate and graduate school students join Japanese language classes as volunteers to support international students to help them improve their Japanese speaking skills.

Academic Advisor System

All Bekka program participants will be assigned Academic Advisors. They will provide you with personal support and provide consultations as you make your plans to continue your studies in Japan.

Special Recommendation Entrance Examination for Bekka Participants

Many of Kansai University’s undergraduate and graduate programs have introduced a special recommendation entrance examination for students with excellent results in the Bekka program. When recommended from the Bekka program, the written examination does not need to be taken, and only an oral interview is required for the entrance examination.
