The university does not own student dormitories but so that we will recommend private dormitories, apartments, and condominiums. In the vicinity of Ichigaya Campus, the rent is about approx. 80,000 yen per month, although you may find more reasonable accommodations depending on the location. Most students spend 30 minutes or more commuting to the university. For your information, in general, please note you need to pay for the initial cost which is three or four months’ rent. When renting an apartment, you will need a cosigner in Japan as well. If you cannot find a cosigner, you may ask a guaranty company to provide a proxy guarantor by paying security deposit which is about one-third of the rent.
There is no scholarship for the students of this program at the moment.
The faculty and staff at the Global Education Center will assist JLP students. If you have any questions or you would like more information need help and advice, please feel free to ask the instructors or staff.
