The website also provides detailed information about Yokohama National University and its faculties of YOKOHAMA Creative-City Studies (YCCS), College of Economics, College of Business Administration, College of Engineering Science, and College of Urban Sciences. The application period for Yokohama Creative-City Studies Program (undergraduate program taught in English) is between 1 November 2016 and 31 January 2017. Please check the website below for further information.
We are preparing a scholarship of 300,000 yen at the time of entrance for the maximum of 10 (ten) international students with college student visa for October 2016 entry. The details will be announced together with the letter of acceptance.

All first year YCCS students will live in the Minesawa International Student Dormitory.
Minesawa International Student Dormitory (constructed 1992) has 110 single rooms (80 rooms for men and 30 rooms for women) and a maximum residence period is one year. The rent and maintenance fees for single rooms are 8,700 JPY/month.

There are many athletic and cultural clubs that have officially registered with YNU, as well as unregistered groups devoted to many types of activities. International students are welcome to participate in clubs and groups which interest them.

Through out the year, students can enjoy cross-cultural opportunities. Supporeted by many volunteers, students can take part in events such as excursions and attending football and baseball games. Students can also experience traditional martial arts such as Judo, Kendo (Japanese art of fencing), Iaido (sword-based martial art) or traditional Japanes arts such as Sado (tea ceremony) and Shodo (calligraphy).
Once students graduate from YCCS, they can expect a variety of international career option, such as the following:
