Remarks Tuition reduction system:
For privately financed international students, there is a system of reduction for 30% of tuition according to academic results. For details, attend the explanation meeting at the 1st term of every year. To take the reduction, you must attend the meeting.

(1)To take the reduction
i) You must have "College Student" visa (not "Dependent (family)", "Permanent Resident", "Spouse of Japanese national", "Spouse of Permanent Resident", "Long Term Resident" or others)
ii) You must a privately financed international student officially registered at Tama University.

(2)Following persons can not take the reduction.
i) Persons who do not meet all conditions of (1)
ii) Persons who did not apply the reduction
iii) Persons who did not take the designated results and units, and are determined not to have enough will of study
iv) Persons who are leaving absence from the university
v) Persons who take a scholarship for tuition (Government-sponsored scholarship recipients for an example)
vi) Persons who had the acts contrary to duty as students of the university
vii) Persons who have the designated income and do not have difficulty for lives.

Before application, you must take the prior qualification screening (May 24 to August 14). After passing the the screening, you can take the prior interview (August 3, 4, 6, 7, 18, or 19). Only after passing the interview, you can apply. Date of the examination above is for documents screening, and you will not required to come to the university on the date. However, you must come to the university at 2 times for the prior qualification screening and the prior interview.

There are 2nd and 3rd terms of the examination. Contents are same of the 1st term.
