ICU is famous for its spacious, green campus. This special environment, which integrates all of the main academic, residential and sports facilities, creates a unique educational experience.


ICU offers housing for some 600 students (about one- fifth of the student body) in its twelve on-campus dormitories.


Since its opening in 1960, the Library has always been at the center of the university's academic information services. Its open collection of more than 750 thousand volumes in Japanese, English and other languages covers a multitude of subjects in response to the needs of the College of Liberal Arts and Graduate School.
It offers a variety of cutting edge multimedia services, including a study area with internet-connected pc booths, group study rooms, a multimedia room, writing support desk and various other facilities for information access, class use and self study.

Dining Hall

The University Dining Hall provides seating for approximately 500 people. It is comprised of three areas--the 'Restaurant', ' Cafe', and 'Lounge'--each with a distinct atmosphere.
