Josai International University (JIU) was founded in 1992 by the Josai University Educational Corporation in the city of Togane, Chiba about 90 minutes from downtown Tokyo. Josai University Educational Corporation was established in 1965 by Mikio Mizuta who was Minister of Finance for a total of 12 years starting in 1960. The university offers 8 undergraduate and 5 graduate programs.

JIU has a rich global network of the agreement with 80 schools in over 20 foreign countries. The students will be benefited from various programs and workships to prepare for the future living. Through All-English Program, students can take courses in English while experiencing Japanese life and culture.

Josai International University also offers a variety of courses on Japan; Japanese history, Japanese culture, Japanese art and literature and Business Japanese. With the deep understanding of Japan and practical experiences, students are equipped with the workforce in japan or abroad.
