Approximately 4500 students on campus.

There are currently approximately 4,500 students studying at the Niigata University of Health and Welfare. The totally barrier-free campus offers an array of facilities, including a student dining hall, cafeteria, convenience store and ATM etc.

Free university bus

A free school bus runs in line with class times between 8am and 10pm daily. 23 buses depart from the JR Toyosaka Station and 4 from Nametokoro and Tayuhama. This service is provided to support students living alone who need to get to and from the university from areas with large student populations.

Students can enjoy the changing four seasons of Japan in the inner garden, with blooming cherry blossom trees in spring and a carpet of snow in winter.

Students can also take advantage of a free training center and gymnasium.

The cafeteria offers an array of dishes, from which students can choose as much or as little as they want.
