Kansai University is located in Osaka, a city with a long tradition and history. 2016 marks the 130th year since the university’s founding. Approximately 1,8000 graduate students are enrolled in the graduate school’s 13 faculties (Law, Letters, Economics, Business and Commerce, Sociology, Informatics, Science and Engineering, Foreign Language Education and Research, Psychology, Safety Science, East Asian Cultures, Governance, Health and Well-being) and 3 professional graduate schools (Law, Accounting, and Clinical Psychology). Of those students, approximately 300 are international students.
There are many international students enrolled and more joining every year. International student alumni of the highest quality are bringing back the culture and academic knowledge of Japan with them across the world.
The Graduate School at Kansai University offers programs for international students for regular degree programs as well as an international graduate student research program usually held for 1 year under the guidance of a supervising faculty member. In this way, the Graduate School at Kansai University offers programs that meet the needs of all graduate students.
