Media Studies
Finding the essence of diverse mass communication and mass media through research.
The objective of media studies is to study and apply knowledge from a variety of fields in the pursuit of determining expectations and possibilities for communications and mass media, as well as the study of the various phenomena of media in our ever-changing modern society.
A sociological approach is taken that considers mass media and its relationships to other forms of media. Areas of media such as print, broadcasting, publishing, and advertising are systematically researched in-depth through studies in news theory and introductions to broadcasting and mass communications.
