Introduction of Studies Economics
Economics
Exploring the relationships between money, human beings, and society.
Study in economics covers the overall themes of economic activity, such as production, consumption, and trade. From these various economic activities, the essential relationships between money, people, and society are drawn out.
Studies in economics are diversifying along with our ever-changing society. When looking at the internationalization of society, the ongoing expansion of trade and globalization of business are readily apparent. Issues that arise from these activities, such as those surrounding overseas investment, fall into the territory of economics. Also, seemingly unrelated themes from other academic fields, such as environmental issues, including major problems such as resource depletion and environmental destruction, are tied into economics, as such resources are used in manufacturing and consumer activities.
